Chairperson

The S-COMELEC Adviser shall recommend a Student COMELEC Chairman and shall be approved by the Director of Student Affairs. The recommended S-COMELEC Chairman shall not hold, during his/her tenure, any other position in the Student Council and any recognized Student Organization of the USC.

The Chairperson shall:

1. Preside in all meetings of the Commission;

2. Enforce this Code, all resolutions, regulations, and decisions made by the S-COMELEC;

3. Make sure all members of the S-COMELEC perform their duties and responsibilities;

4. Call a meeting as may be necessary;

5. Sign all letters coming from S-COMELEC;

6. Delegate tasks or duties to any of the Commissioners;

7. Sign the final list of candidates;

8. Recommend the termination of his/her members; and

9. Perform all other functions and exercise duties as may be provided by this Code.
