
S-COM outlines requirements for SC elections

As the 2024 University Student Council (USC) and Local Student Council (LSC) Elections draw near, the Student Commission on Election (S-COM) announced on April 22, the requirements and qualifications for the aspiring student leaders.
For the students who wish to file for candidacy in the upcoming student elections, the following requirements are to be considered:
Accomplished Application Form provided by the S-COMELEC.
Photocopy of Certificate of Registration For (A. Y. 2023-2024 Second Semester) — signed by the student.
Photocopy of Validated School ID for the present semester — with three (3) specimens of a wet signature.
Photocopy of Certificate of Leadership/Seminar (minimum of one certificate).
Recent 2x2 Photo.
Recommendation Letter from the Dean/Director/Principal.
Resignation Letter of an incumbent officer of their respective organization (This is strictly optional).
On the other hand, the filing process for the aspiring candidates of the USC and LSC elections is set to begin on April 29-30, to be held at the S-COMELEC Office, located at the University Learning Resource Center.
