S-COM shares prerequisites for party list accreditation, re-accreditation

In preparation for the upcoming USC and LSC Election 2024, the Student Commission on Election (S-COMELEC) released its official announcement regarding the requirements for the accreditation and re-accreditation of political partylists via Facebook post on April 9.
For the registration and accreditation of a new political party, the following requirement shall be considered:
A letter of intent for accreditation signed by the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) Director;
Clearly expressed mission, vision, goals, and objectives;
The official list of founders and at least 150 members;
Photocopy of Certificate of Registration (COR) (for each member of the political party); and
Certificate of Good Moral (for each member of the political party).
Meanwhile, for the re-accreditation of an existing political party, the requirements remained unchanged prior to the above-mentioned, however, they must provide an updated list of members.
The dates for the submission of their accreditation and re-accreditation will be on April 15–16, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the S-COMELEC Office.
